I came into the possession of a very soft and prehaps under-filled small bean bag style cushion (about the size of a typical couch custion) and thought I’d try it out as a beanbag tripod, for positioning my camaera in a close up stop motion video experiment. I’ve got a fair way to go with the stop motion but I was ammazed how stable the bean bag held the camera (even my “heavy” pentax) and very small positional adjustments are just as easy as with the levers, knobs and handles on the conventional tripod, perhaps a fraction more natural.
