Photo Friday :: Panorama
The assembled Panorama (looking towards wilson's prom)
The following 10 images where spliced together to create this panoramic image. As with most wide landscape fornats you really need to see it larger to appreciate it fully, you can click on the image to see a larger version). I have an olympus camera, and you must also have an olympus memeory card, which helps autom,atically assemble a panoramtic sequence. when you take the sequence in panormanic mode; the camera viewfinder stows some help refence points for offsetting each image. Then the camedia software has a special auto panoramic feature thet matches up the photos. The maximum number of panes in the panorama for my camrea is 10.

Someone is watching!
Its good to know, at least a few people are reading this blog, infact on average looking at a few other pages as well. Since all the hassles with blog spammers and the extra requirements to type in a verification word, seems to have dried up feedback.
The interesting part, well interesting to me, is the spread of viewers; this map shows the last 100 unique hits.
Thanks to all who have bothered to stop in and particularly those who have revisited

Email has reached my bar
Why do I look so happy?
A long term ambition of mine has been to be able to email from my bar. Well after reading a lot of uncomprehensible manuals, well more colour in style booklets, they might even be manga comics for all i can figure out. Digesting a lot of jargon and some crucial wikipedia searches to find out when to WAP and when to WEP. I finally have a wireless network runing, its an 802.11b Wi Fi network. Seems to work nice and fast, perfect for posting photos to blogger.
(So sorry if this sounds trivial to more network savy but it is a big deal for me)

Is that a UFO?
Can you see the UFO?
Last night I tried, not very successfully, to photograph some distant fireworks, but I got quiet a surprise when I viewed them on my computer, Can you see the destinctly disk shape object hovering in the upper left of the sky. You might have to enlarge the image by clicking on it. Didn't take long to figure it was a reflection of a hanging light behind me.
Moral:: Remember reflections when photograhing through glass, even when it us dark!
