Photomosics :: More Experiments
Returning to the experiment I started last week, I have been taking a number of time lapse photos (using the night scene setting on my camera, which leave the shutter open up to 4 seconds) from a moving bus in the early mornings. Of course the images are blurred and streaked out, but the colours and the abstract patterns are pretty amazing. I like the effects such "abstract" photos can create when you combine them, and add repeating paterns as in he examples below. (I used the picture grid feature in picasa's collage maker, and gimp for the grids)

Mobile Marketing
Roadside sellers are all along, any road you care to take in ghana.Like most Ghanians, Sonali has a lovely smile and was happy to have her photo taken, but I doubt this web presence is going to have much impact on her sales.

The bread makers
This family were busy preparing bread rolls, as dusk fell. These rolls are comonly sold on the roadside by ladies with a large basket full of the rolls perched on their head.
Front & Center
The smartest dress secruity guards in town. Late afternoon but i did use a fill flash to make sure the dark skin tones had a little detail.

Road Trip Collage
This is is one of those, "now for something completely different" posts. It was inspired by firstly photo fridays experimatal topic and secondly by boredom (I am currently spending 4 hours a day in a bus travelling the backroads of ghana.
This is a collage of available light images taken on a very misty morning, from a "moving" bus.
